The spring soccer program started in 2014 with the vision of Rev. Jaison J. Young, Sr. looking to expand the Charger programs that make a difference in the lives of children. The program was developed with the philosophy that if you teach the fundamentals- you will be successful.

The Chargers spring soccer program is open to children ages 5 to 12 years old. We are proud members of the Prince George's County Sports League.

Our organization is a place where kids can positively interact with each other- working towards a common goal. We pride ourselves in assuring that their time spent within the organization with teammates and coaches are memorable.

Our volunteers provide crucial support and aid to the continuing mission of The Prince George's Chargers and help set our programs standards. Through the generous gift of time, talents and personal interests, our volunteers supplement the work of staff members in offering many special services that are so important to our kids.

The PG Chargers continues to build and sustain itself through athletics, character, academics, faith and achievements. The mission of the Prince George's Chargers is to teach children to fellowship by promoting discipline, dedication and teamwork in a family, friendly and fun environment.

  • Providing a proper and safe sports environment for our youth.
  • Enhancing the emotional, physical, social and educational well-being of our youth.
  • Appointing, evaluating, educating and supporting the coaches and managers who will instruct our youth, keeping in mind the best interest of our children.
  • Assuring basic levels of knowledge and instruction are introduced at each level of play.
  • Encouraging parents to take an active role in the youth sports experience of their child and our organization.
